Slept On Records was founded in 2000 by San Francisco Bay Area DJs/producers E Da Boss and Nick Andre as an outlet for their unique brand of no-frills, B-boy-rooted hip-hop. Since the label's founding, the pair have put out numerous releases, from 45s to 12-inches to their debut album, The Catalog, and have worked with such artists as Gift of Gab, Lateef the Truthspeaker, Bicasso, Jern Eye, Jahi, and Nebulus. Their funky, soulful production style has gotten critical acclaim from such outlets as XLR8R, Versus, Performer, Ground Lift, and many others, and they've gotten props from around the globe.
